The Pittsburgh Steelers have been very aggressive in free agency so far.  They have five signings in the books, four of them being defensive players.  With so much emphasis on defense, there isn’t a whole lot left to spend on the other side of the ball.  Here are five low key offensive free agents the Steelers could still sign:

1.  Justin Watson, WR:

Justin Watson checks all the boxes when it comes to Steelers free agents.  They had him in for a pre-draft visit, highly athletic (9.6 RAS), he’s a local kid, and most importantly he should come cheap.  Slot receiver is a need not talked about enough with this team.  A Watson signing would not surprise us at all.

2. Foster Moreau, TE:

Foster Moreau is another player the Steelers had in for a pre-draft visit.  We have been speculating all off-season this team might want to upgrade themselves at back up tight end.  Moreau has been living in the shadows behind Darren Waller in Las Vegas.  This could be sneaky good signing for any team.

3.  Justice Hill, RB:

We have been pleading with the Steelers for years to add some speed to the running back room.  Ten post draft free agents the Steelers could be interested in  Justice Hill certainly fits that bill.  Whether or not Mike Tomlin values speed at this position is yet to be seen.  Hill would be a perfect change of pace back from Najee Harris.

4. Chris Hubbard, OT

Old friend Chris Hubbard is back on the free agent market.  It’s tough to gauge what his salary range will be now that he turns 31.  He’s coming off a subpar 2022 where PFF had him graded out at a miserable 41 overall score.  https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/chris-hubbard/8051?season=2022.  Still, Hubbard is a familiar face with position flexibility.  He could definitely upgrade the Steelers at swing tackle.

5. Donald Parham, TE

Looking for a tall athletic alternative to Zach Gentry, Parham is your guy,  He stands 6’8”, and had a decent 6,86 RAS score.  Parham graded out with a nearly 80 from PFF.  He doesn’t have much in the way of production so far, but this player could be a sleeping giant on the right team.
