Steelers were thin at CB to begin with, if Golson injury is serious they will have to go get a veteran for depth.

— By all reports Xavier Grimble has looked good, but can’t seem to finish a practice.  He’s not as good a special teams player as David Johnson.  If he expects to make the team, he better start finishing these practices.

— Excited about the way Sammie Coates has looked.  Can’t wait to see him in preseason.

James Harrison twisted his ankle on Monday.  How much can we really expect from a 38 year old linebacker??

—  Good news is Le’veon Bell showing no signs of anything lingering from last years knee surgery.  Bad news, we won’t see him until week 5.

—  Found it interesting that defensive players like Jarvis Jones, Anthony Chickillo, and Bud Dupree all losing 20 lbs each.  Further proof Steelers putting more emphasis for speed on defense.

—  Looks like Eli Rogers has the leg up on the 5th wide receiver/possible punt returner over draft pick DeMarcus Ayers.

— Second round pick Sean Davis looks like he will make the biggest impact this season. Already seeing reps at safety and corner.  Might well be the 3rd safety in Steelers big nickel.

— Can’t help but dream what Pittsburgh’s offense would have looked like with 16 games out of Bell, and Martavis Bryant. Put them with Ladarius Green and Sammie Coates and wow would 40 points a game be realistic??
