Well, we are here. A little over 24 hours away from the 2026 NFL draft. That means it is time for our final Steelers mock draft 4.0. Taking in all the intel I can get my hands on, combined with all the national big boards, here is my best guess for what the Steelers will do this weekend. I’m coming out hot right away making a trade in the first round. I have the Steelers trading their first round pick (21), third round pick (76), and fifth round pick (161) to the Rams for pick number 13.
Round 1 (13 trade): Spencer Fano OT/OG – Utah
Measurables: 6’5″/ 311 lbs, 32″ arms, 9.80 RAS

The uncertainty of the Broderick Jones injury suddenly makes tackle a priority in this draft. The good news here is Spencer Fano is a tackle by trade, but is projected to slide into guard in the NFL due to his arm length. The Steelers get the best of both worlds here. If Jones is out for any length of time, they have a capable starting tackle. Once he’s healthy, the team has a Pro Bowl caliber guard to play next to him. We all know how much the Steelers love their position flexibility, and they get this in spades with Fano. Spencer Fano was among the last to come in as a predraft visit, so there is confirmed interest by the team.
Round 2 (53): Trayden Stukes S/CB – Arizona
Measurables: 6’1″/ 190 lbs, 33″ arms, 4.33/40, 9.95 RAS

Treydan Stukes is an elite slot corner prospect with the versatility to play safety as well. He tested off the charts at the combine, further cementing himself as one of the better players in this draft. Stukes has great ball skills with 7 career interceptions, and 29 passes defended. Adding him would free up the Steelers to use Jalen Ramsey more as the starting free safety, solidifying the secondary. Stukes was also a predraft visitor this cycle. Steelers meeting tracker
Round 3a (85): De’Zhaun Stribling WR – Ole Miss
Measurables: 6’2″/ 207 lbs, 4.36/40, 9.57 RAS

Couldn’t go one pick further without getting a wide receiver in this draft. De’Zhaun Stribling is criminally underrated in my onion. Stribling had 811 yards, and 6 touchdowns for Ole Miss in 2026. He averaged nearly 15 yards per catch, which is actually down from his 17 yards per catch in 2024. This is the type of big play receiver the Steelers need. Stribling is a steal in the third round.
Round 3b (99): Drew Allar QB – Penn State
Measureables: 6’5″/ 225 lbs, RAS N/A

There is just too much smoke between the Steelers and Drew Allar. Lets start out with him matching almost identically to what Mike McCarthy described as his perfect “AFC North quarterback”. Allar is a big quarterback with an even bigger arm. He needs developing, something McCarthy also mentioned he enjoys doing. Throw in he’s a Penn St kid, and was in for a predraft visit, and you can almost lock this pick in at 99.
Round 4a (121): Bud Clark S – TCU
Measurables: 6’0″/ 188 lbs, 4.41/40, 8.90 RAS

Bud Clark is a ball hawking safety with 15 career interceptions at TCU. He was a standout at the Senior Bowl, where he improved his draft stock tremendously. This is the heir apparent to Jalen Ramsey at free safety, possibly even making Ramsey expendable by the end of the preseason.
Round 4b (135): Zxavian Harris DT – Ole Miss
Measureables: 6’7″/ 330 lbs, 35″ Arms, RAS N/A

This is the ultimate boom or bust pick late in the fourth round. On one hand, Zxavain Harris is a massive defensive tackle who can be dominant at times. On the other hand there are off the field red flags, and some effort concerns. Zxavian Harris can be a steal this late in the draft if he reaches his potential. It’s a worthwhile gamble as a possible future Cam Heyward replacement.
Round 6 (216) Jack Kelly LB – BYU
Measurables: 6’1″/ 240 lbs, 4.57/40, 9.72 RAS

Steelers will continue to take swings at late round outside linebackers in hopes of hitting on one. Jack Kelly is an athletic linebacker with good range, and excellent pass rush ability. He had 10 sacks for the Cougars in 2025. This would be a decent flyer on a linebacker with upside.
Round 7 (224): Eli Heidenreich RB/WR – Navy
Measurebles: 5’11″/ 198 lbs, 4.44/40, 9.25 RAS

A do it all offensive weapon born in Pittsburgh? You can mark this one in pen friends. Heidenreich had over 900 yards receiving, and another 499 rushing with 9 total touchdowns for Navy. Think of him as a more athletic Conner Heyward.
Round 7b (230) Domani Jackson CB – Alabama
Measurables: 6’0″/ 194 lbs, 4.41/40, 9.01 RAS

Solid three year starter at Alabama, with above average athleticism. Can’t ask for much more this deep in the draft.
Round 7c (237) Khalil Dinkins TE – Penn State
Measureables: 6’3″/ 251lbs, 7.82 RAS
d
Dinkins is more explosive on tape than he tested. This is a Pennsylvania kid who will add depth to the tight end position. Dinkins was one of the Steelers 30 predraft visits.
