In the next installment of the Saturday morning top 10, we bring back an older post. Originally inspired by James Harrison joining the New England Patriots, this top 10 list looks at Steelers players who finished out their careers elsewhere.
10. Mike Merriweather – Probably one of the more underrated of the great Steelers linebackers. Merriweather started all but one game over four seasons with the Minnesota Vikings.
9. Levon Kirkland – One of my favorite Steelers linebackers of all time. He played inside linebacker at 270lbs (that may be on the light side). He went on to play in both Seattle and Philadelphia.
- James Harrison – Finally, we come to the most recent and most controversial of them all. James Harrison basically shot his way out of Pittsburgh. It was a sad way for one of the great Steelers linebackers careers to end.
